Information Architecture and Governance

According to TOGAF Enterprise Architecture is a means to enable interoperability of information and information services. Information Architecture is the heart of Enterprise Architecture. Information Architecture needs to support the realization of actual and future Information requirements in line with the Information Strategy.

Information Governance is the set of controls that monitor and direct how well

  • Information Architecture is realizing the Information Strategy
  • Information Development is conformant to the Information Architecture
  • Information Systems are deployed/used conformant to implementation guidelines
  • Information is conformant to the specified quality criteria
